When
your puppy leaves our home, they are further along in their training
than most dogs that age. They are well along their way in potty
training, they understand how their rear legs work (great for hunting
the hills), and they have pointed at least a bird wing. They are well
socialized with people and other dogs. All our pups have their tails
docked, dewclaws removed, first set of shots and deworming. Their hips
are guaranteed for 26 months.
We
like to have at least four deposits on pups before we breed our dogs.
We believe in quality pups, not quantity of litters. Our deposit is
$100, and receipt of that deposit holds your pick order. We welcome our
puppy owners to come out and visit with the pups as they grow. We like
to have our picks done right after they get their first shots. We ask
that you have a name for your pup when you do your pick, or shortly
there after. This way, we can start calling your pup by its name and
they are starting to get used to it before they go to their new homes.
We like for them to go to their new homes at 7 weeks old, but no later
than 8 weeks old when they go through their second fear period. This is
also the age when critical bonding takes place.
